Phil has worked as a skilled manager for several industries. This experience has given him the techniques to oversee and build teams that are as effective as they are reliable. Phil won’t say team leader, as he feels it is very important to engage all team members in the leadership role.

Owning a business is a very large task, and that task becomes greater as the staff grows in number. Managing from as few as 3 to as many as 250 personnel at one time has given Phil the necessary skills to manage the entire team while developing individual personnel towards their career goals.

Phil worked in municipal government for over 20 years and directed the efforts of 4 divisions, with responsibility for fleet, facilities, communications and central stores. He managed anywhere from 30 to 100 contracts at a time and ensured the terms of those contracts were adhered to.

The responsibility of hiring and managing seven different security companies and contracts while employed with municipal government taught Phil how to raise the bar of professionalism in the field of security. These personal standards fueled his desire to create Raptor Security Services and change the culture of security in the surrounding area.

Phil loves to be involved in the community and volunteers with the Utah Food Bank, serving lunch at a shelter and gathering donations of clothing, food and other items for the support agencies. This passion has been inherited by his company as well. They too make every possible effort to better the surrounding community.
